Amazon Fire TV’s New Voice Search Partners

Amazon Fire TV has gotten just a tad bit better. Amazon has announced that Hulu Plus, Crackle, SHOWTIME ANYTIME are joining VEVO in integrating their content into Fire TV’s unified search voice. Amazon has been getting a lot of flak over that feature in online forums, so this is a good move. Amazon is working on new features to make the device an even more attractive option:

  • Prime browse for easier movie discovery
  • Amazon FreeTime and Amazon MP3 integration
  • More games

The problems we had with the device still remain. I simply could not get the wireless feature to work as well as my Roku stick and Apple TV. Other than that, Fire TV looked like a fun device, especially considering that you can sideload apps on it. You can order your Amazon Fire TV for $99.
