After all, we are talking about a $489 gadget, and that is by no means a small amount of money. Thankfully, manufacturers are starting to come out with add-ons for your Kindle DX so you can protect and enhance your gadget from day one. I am sure by the time Kindle DX is shipping, you’ll have enough cool Kindle DX accessories to choose from.
Here are some of the accessories and add-ons that are available for DX:

- 2-Year Extended Warranty for Kindle DX: similar to Kindle 2.0 warranty, it insures your device against accidental drops for 2 years.
- Rapid Car / Auto Charger for the Amazon Kindle DX: a rapid charger for Kindle 2.0 and DX.
Currently, there are not many Kindle DX exclusive accessories available on the market. But you can bet companies have already started planning new add-ons for this cool gadget. It’s not going to be cheap, but some of these add-ons are necessary.
