E-book readers are so cheap these days that we do not expect too many e-reader makers to offer major discounts for the upcoming Black Friday event. But B&N is planning to compete for your dollars by offering the NOOK Touch for $79. That is the same price as the cheapest Kindle around. Now this is not just a regular NOOK. It is a special edition NOOK with a white border.
B&N will be offering this NOOK in stores only. There will be only a limited number of these e-readers available on Black Friday. B&N is also offering discounts on accessories. As expected, these deals are not earth-shaking. But if you are a NOOK fan, there has never been a better time to pick up a NOOK Touch.
