Nook Color 2 Coming on November 7th?
0It is no secret that Amazon will start shipping Kindle Fire and Kindle Touch orders in early November. We are a couple of weeks from that happening. B&N still has time to get some momentum of its own by introducing a new NOOK Color in the next couple of weeks. According to multiple sources, that is exactly what the company is planning.
We have known for some time that B&N is planning to expand the NOOK family by adding a premium NOOK Color to its current offerings. Details are quite sketchy on NOOK Color 2, but the device will most likely be more compact and powerful than the original. It will probably cost less than the original NOOK Color.
Sources close to B&N are indicating that the company has planned an event for November 7th. It has been preparing for a launch event it seems. Kindle Fire will be tough to beat considering how much Amazon is losing on it just to be a low-price leader in this market. Can B&N compete? We will have to wait and see.
