EB710 Color e-reader To Challenge iPad?

It seems Apple iPad is going to have a new challenger after all. With HP Slate and Microsoft Courier dying (Slate is just getting rebranded), Apple iPad has not had too much of a challenge from LCD-based e-readers. EB710 e-reader is 7 inch color LCD screen e-reader that could change that. Featuring a large color screen, a recorder, an optional FM radio, and an Android-looking interface, EB710 e-reader is expected to give e-book reader fans yet another option.

At this point, it is not clear how much the device will cost and when it will be released to the market (as is the case with EB711). Many Kindle fans do not like giving LCD-based e-readers a try. But these e-readers have their own merits. There is a market and a need for more devices such as this one. The price and the content available for this e-reader are the main factors that will decide whether this device will be a success. Let’s just say it’d be a bad idea to price this device in the Kindle or iPad price range.
