Amazon’s TV Box To Get Netflix & Hulu Plus

I don’t know about you but I love my Apple TV. The only trouble with it is its lack of support for Amazon videos. Now that Amazon is planning to make its own set top box, I can see myself ditching my Apple TV for it. Amazon’s product will be a Roku competitor. It will have Netflix and Hulu Plus in addition to standard Amazon content.

Amazon has been working on a set-top box for a couple of years. The device will have a standard remote. Since Amazon is registered to use the DIAL multiscreen protocol, users will probably be able to launch content from their smart devices. Amazon is using Android to power its set-top box, but you won’t be able to recognize it easily. Not sure how much this product will cost.
