12.9″ iPad Coming In 2014?

Is Apple going to really make a 12.9″ iPad Pro? That’s what multiple sources have reported recently. According to Digitimes, Quanta has already received orders for this product. Let’s put aside the fact that manufacturing 12.9″ iPads will be a challenge. The device is not going to be portable or cheap. According to Digitimes, Apple is planning to target the education and enterprise markets with this tablet.

I can see how artists and business professional may prefer owning a larger iPad. That does not mean Apple will offer them that. In fact, this could be a hybrid tablet for all we know. All we can do at this point is wait to see how Apple proceeds.
