Kindle Fire 7″, 8.9″, the iPad Mini, and Nexus 7 are all great mini tablets to own. They are portable but more than capable of running your favorite apps. You are going to have to touch their screen to get things done though. If you hate leaving fingerprints all over your gadgets, you may want to pick up one of these screen protectors:

Marware Screen protector for Kindle Fire HD 8.9: a clear screen protector for the Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ tablet. It is fairly easy to apply too.
i-Blason HD Anti Glare Bubble Free Screen Protector: this one works great for those of you who own an iPad Mini. It fits your device’s screen perfectly and does not damage it in any way.
Tech Armor Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Screen Protector: similar to the second item listed on this page but this one works for your Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
There are some techniques you can use to apply cheap screen protectors. The above products should be easier to apply though.
