But we as a nation need to get on a better information diet. Blogs are great to find out about latest developments and even get ideas. But a well-researched book on a Kindle is just something else. I do hope that our government, our communities, our people will spend some time to get our kids to read more. Use the muscle that matters. We have the technology to make reading fun again. Make math cool again. Make arts cool again. Let's hope :)

Thanks Rick. I am a blogger, and I love all bloggers for what they do. I also like your point on the need to actually read well developed, fact based writing that took time and effort to produce as opposed to a blog written up (many times with spelling and grammatical errors) on the spur of the moment.Let's hope the K2 really does kindle a spark to read more and continue stretching the mind:-)

Well put sir…glad someone has pointed out that iPhone users, though they CAN read entire books, typically don’t.
