I did have a chance to post a few simple Kindle shortcuts a while back. I promised that I would write about some more advanced shortcuts, and I guess I’ll have to keep that promise. But before we get to that, I was wondering if you have any favorite shortcut on Kindle. Mine is the time shortcut. I really lose track of time when I am reading, and it helps a lot to have the option to know what time it is without getting out of bed.

I use the time shortcut while reading all the time. I also like @web as its faster than going through submenus. Just hit search and type @web.

You forgot to mention what the short cut was. It was a bit like me saying I like the short cut to switch on the backlight, and leave you in a mystery how to do it… sadly the switch is still a lamp – a man can but dream! So what is the shortcut? Please tell me!

Sorry. The old Kindle had a short-cut ALT+T that you could use to display the time on the top of the page you were reading. The new Kindles you can just use the menu button. It was a very simple short-cut but will publish a list of it in the near future.
