USA Today Comes To Kindle Platform

Subscribe to USA TODAY

USA Today is the latest major publisher to jump on the Kindle bandwagon. Now, you can’t call them an early adopter or anything, but USA Today realizes that the Kindle platform is a great opportunity for them to gain more subscribers. USA Today did have an electronic version which can be used on a personal computer, but the Kindle edition is now optimized to fit the relatively small screen of the Kindle.

The price is a bit lower with the Kindle edition. You can get the USA Today for Kindle for $11.99 a month whereas the electronic version goes for $13.99. I am not sure which one is more tempting. I don’t read newspapers that often anymore, so even $11.99 a month sounds too high to me.

Any thoughts?
