Pandigital is not done releasing e-book readers to the market. In fact, it has released 2 new models under its Personal eReader family that not only take advantage of ePaper technology but have touch-sensitive screens too. These new models feature 6-inch 800 x 600 Sipex/AUO epaper touchscreen displays and provide WiFi support too. PDF and ePub are supported too.

Pandigital Novel Personal eReaders have a memory card slot, so you can expand the on-board memory on these units. They also give users access to B&N’s e-book store.
We’re extending our Pandigital Novel eReader line to include ePaper models that will encourage even more readers to embrace the ease, comfort and enjoyment of electronic book readers … Our new Pandigital Novel 6-inch eReaders are perfect for the many readers who love to catch up on their books outdoors, on vacation or just when they have a moment to relax and unwind,
said John Clough, president of Pandigital. These e-readers are expected to sell for as low as $179. While it is a smart move by PanDigital to start offering e-paper based ebook readers, the prices can be lower. With Kindle selling for $189, can Pandigital Personal Readers make an impact? We will have to wait and see.
