As you know, we are only a few months away from the release of the next generation Kindle. Kindle 3.0 (not counting DX) will be released sometime next year, and you can expect a lot of changes in design and features. A lot of experts are worried about what could happen as far as in-book advertising is concerned. But a lot of positives could come out of the next generation Kindle as well. I was particularly disappointed with Kindle 2.0 as it did not offer as many new features as I expected. The device is a bit cheaper than before, and it’s designed in a more sleek fashion. But we didn’t get too many earth-shattering changes with Kindle 2. I firmly believe that Kindle 3.0 will offer more new features, and we may finally get support for colored e-books.
