I read a good number of difficult theological and philosophical works. Unfortunately, the Kindle is poorly adapted to making any kind of notes and surely no margin notes. Not to mention that I cannot just open the book to find my notes like I can in a print edition. I will continue to use my Kindle for light reading, but if the prices of a Kindle edition approach those of a print edition, I will likely take the print book. Now if we can get an ereader that allows me to take the kind of notes I need, reference the actual pages from a print edition, even add more detailed notes with a key pad that has some reasonable utility -- I will be all over it.I still like my Kindle but it is way behind what I know technology can do.

I was an early adopter of Kindle but my enthusiasm is waning.
