A cheaper price would certainly entice the older readers to buy into the new technology of ereaders rather than remain with larger print solid books. It offers a lot for the older reader, larger fonts, larger reading area, audio book capabilities and the weight is still OK. Color would be nice, but an e-ink color, not the bright LCD-type screen of the Fire, that is simply too hard on the eyes, especially older eyes. Older people do a lot of reading.

another dissatisfied kindle customer. i have a kindle keyboard that's 15 months old. screen went blank with horizontal & vertical lines. kindle will replace but only for $85. i don't want to buy another one, i want them to replace it. Apple would NEVER do this to their customers. amazing that a company like amazon does this. they just lost another customer. it's a shame too because it was a pretty good product.
