A lot of us did anticipate this to happen, and it finally has. Amazon has finally dropped its Kindle 2.0 price by $60, dropping the price to $299.99. It’s not as much as some of us hoped for, but a great way to boost Kindle sales in these tough times. Of course, you can expect people who have bought their Kindle recently to complain. But that’s life.

You can always use the $60 to buy more Kindle accessories. No price drop on Kindle DX yet, unfortunately.
